About

From her early teens, Margriet Nannings has been involved in working with textiles, creating new fabrics, designing and making clothes. Buying the latest Italian Voque to be inspired was something she did when she was just old enough to take the train to Amsterdam by herself.

On her 21st she opened her first shop with her own label combined with international brands like Cacharel.
After the fashion show and opening, she had to close the doors again… her entire collection was sold out the first week.

Her passion and fascination for clothes and creating collections with refined textiles, beautiful colors and an eye for detail results in an oeuvre in which two collections were realised every year since 1988.

The Margriet Nannings stores as they are today specialises in high-end, exclusive fashion brands like: Comme des Garçons, Maison Margiela, Marni, Paul Smith, Yohji Yamamoto Y3 and many more. With a loyal clientele including designers, painters and architects, the stores are a hub of thoughtful collections, each with distinctive colour palettes and styles.
